About Us

Founded in 1948, SPK Branch 20 Toronto has deep roots in the post-World War II efforts of Polish veterans who sought refuge in Canada. Many of our members served in the Polish 2nd Corps and were unable to return to their homeland after the war due to Soviet occupation. Over the decades, the branch has grown to become a vibrant part of Toronto’s Polish community, offering support and connection to veterans and their families, as well as promoting Polish cultural traditions.

The Board of Directors of SPK Branch 20 consists of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to steer the association’s initiatives and oversee operations. Elected every two years, the board plays a vital role in maintaining the organization’s integrity and ensuring that our mission to honour and support veterans continues.
